Comfrey Project

Icon For Food

The Comfrey Project provides a safe, welcoming place for people who have fled conflict and persecution to improve their physical and mental wellbeing, develop new skills and put down roots in their new community, to create a society where refugees and people seeking asylum are included and respected as equals.

Our approach is based on Social and Therapeutic Horticulture - the use of horticulture-based activities including gardening, bee-keeping, cooking, crafts and construction, to improve people's lives.

Partnership with Feeding Families who provide food parcels every fortnight for distribution to residents from site. Referrals received, community drop in Fridays.
