The route

Wardley Manor Country Park is located 15 minutes from the centre of Gateshead by car and easily reached by bus or by foot. Stroll around the many different paths which head towards the lake and look out for wildlife such as ducks, swans and dragonflies. The park is suitable for walkers and cyclists and has lots of green space for picnics.
