Roadworks Felling bypass
Planned roadworks will be taking place on the Felling bypass this weekend, Saturday 25 September and Sunday 26 September.
Access will go down to one lane in both directions with contraflows in place between 6:30pm on Saturday 25 September until 6am Monday 27 September.
These planned works will allow Gateshead Council to progress the extension of the district energy network and bring low carbon power to Gateshead International Stadium. The scheme aims to reduce carbon emissions to achieve Gateshead's ambition of becoming zero carbon by 2030 and respond to the Climate Emergency.
