This contract covers the provision of creating an efficient waste collection route by use of Bartec's Collective Waste Management System and CollectiveX desktop and in-cab software package. The in-cab software is uploaded onto an Andriod device which is located in a cradle within the vehicles cab and displays the vehicles route and any issues which may impede it providing the service.

The CollectiveX software system enhances the waste collection service by:

• Improving the tracking and maps on the back-office system showing when the bin lorry actually arrived at the location.
• Real time updates on warnings and attributes direct to the vehicle which may affect the service delivery.
• Assisting with dealing of bin complaints.
• Recording of how many residual and recycling bins are to be emptied at a property.
• Ability to photograph issues such as parked cars blocking the street on bin collection day.
• Improved connectivity from mobile device to software system.
• Allows users to select a specific area such as a communal bin store on the map function.
