Aim: Raise Awareness about Safeguarding Adults and understand how and when to raise a Safeguarding Adults Concern.

Learning objectives

This training will enable participants to:

• recognise the criteria of the Care Act and what constitutes a safeguarding concern
• examine the procedures for reporting a safeguarding concern
• apply this knowledge to real case studies
• prepare to develop a care plan

• All staff and volunteers who encounter, or who have knowledge of adults with care and support needs
