Young people leaving care - Requesting donations for driving lessons

Our Care Experience Team support young people leaving local-authority care to move on into independence.
Donations
Our young people would really benefit from financial donations for driving lessons.
We have the following quotes from our young leavers to demonstrate how beneficial this would be to them:
"Driving would be a huge benefit to me as I work in Consett which is far away from my home in Gateshead. Driving would provide more opportunities with work and career progression, as I would be able to get to work far quicker and be able to pick up extra shifts last minute. I would also be able to socialise more and be able to travel to see my friends easier. It would give me a sense of freedom."
"Being able to drive eventually would change my life completely. I am a very social person and travel via bus every day. I live in Blaydon and attend college in Wallsend, while attending regular football training sessions in Morpeth. I also have a part time job that I need to get to. At the moment, it takes me a long time to get to each place and means I am limited in how I spend my free time. If I could drive, I would be able to save so much time and it would give me a sense of freedom. I would be able to manage my time better, feel more independent and have more time for other hobbies!"
