Crossling donates £1,000 to the Mayor's Charity
Plumbing merchants Crossling donated £1,000 to the Mayor's Charity event, which took place on 6 April 2023.
The four chosen charities were:
The Firefighters Charity - Formed during the Second World War to support the bereaved families of firefighters who had died during the Blitz, the charity has honoured the legacy of their bravery and sacrifice and evolved over the past 75 years.
Mental Health Concern - providing a wide range of specialist services on behalf of the NHS and local authorities in the North East. Our mission is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the people we serve.
Readley - providing vital support and awareness for people and their families affected by asbestos and mesothelioma related diseases.
Communication Workers Union Humanitarian Aid (CWUHA) - a charitable organisation which was set up in response to the plight of vulnerable children. They operate mainly in Eastern Europe, in the UK, Republic of Ireland and Africa.
A total of £3,500 was raised.
