Course objectives

Executive function is an umbrella term used to describe a set of mental skills that are controlled by the frontal lobes of the brain.

This session will cover:

  • Executive function and MCA
  • Frontal lobe paradox
  • Impulsive decision making
  • Unwise decisions

Suitable for

Intercollegiate Framework: level 3 People identified in Groups 3-5
Bournemouth University Framework: People identified in Group B2-D
This course is suitable for all staff in particular front-line staff who work with adults
