About the session
This listening and learning session provides a picture of the risks posed to separated migrant children (UASC) in the North East. It re-emphasizes the need for professionals curiosity when UASC go missing and suggests positive actions which can be taken to reduce the risks to UASC. It will also clarify the significance of the NRM in relation to such young people. The second half of the session will then provide an opportunity to explore and discuss this learning in relation to practice in Gateshead.
