New grant funding opportunities for partners
Two small grant applications are now open to partners helping our communities with the cost of living this winter.
Cooking on a budget
The first small grant programme is for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) partners to run cooking courses which should focus on supporting individuals who are at risk of going cold or hungry in the winter months.
In issuing this programme, our objective is for participants to come together, stay warm and learn ways to create tasty food on a budget over a course of weeks. Upon completion, there is the option for participants to take away an appliance that will help them eat affordably and reduce their energy costs.

Warm Spaces 2023/24
We're extremely grateful to all partner organisations who support Gateshead residents through our Warm Spaces programme. To support this vital service again this winter, we're launching a small grant programme to support existing Warm Space providers.
