Access denied pages

An access denied tells someone they do not have permission to access the page they were trying to view.

When we use this pattern

We use an access denied page if someone is trying to view a page they are not allowed to. This happens if someone:

• is not logged into the website
• is logged into the website but does not have the correct level of permission to view the page
