    The footer area is displayed at the bottom of every page. It contains site-wide components like the footer icons, bottom utility menu and copyright information.

    Site feedback

    The site feedback component is displayed after the content on each page and links to a feedback form. The feedback helps us identity issues and improve the website.

    Site logo

    The Gateshead Council logo is displayed in the top left of the footer. It also acts as a link to the homepage.

    Social media links

    These links point to the Gateshead Council Facebook, X and YouTube accounts. There is also a link to sign up for the council newsletter, Gateshead Now.

    Bottom utility menu

    The bottom utility menu is used to display the Listen and translate, contact us, A-Z, terms of service, privacy policy, cookies and accessibility links.
