Share your views on Adult Social Care services with People's Voice

Our approach to how we deliver care and support across Adult Social Care is changing in Gateshead. Community Led Support will involve us working collaboratively with our communities, partner organisations and staff to co produce a service that works for everyone.
The first step to introducing Community Led Support across the borough is asking you how you would like to improve our services in Adult Social Care. As such, residents from across Gateshead are being invited to have their say via People's Voice.
People's Voice is a new group developed as part of our changing approach to how we will deliver care and support across Adult Social Care in Gateshead.

- socialising with your community and finding out more about the support on offer
Councillor Michael McNestry, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care at Gateshead Council, said: "People's Voice is a fantastic opportunity for anyone in Gateshead who has an interest in Adult Social Care, is keen to be part of how we improve services, or would just like to find out more about the support on offer.
"We know that hearing from our communities is the best way to improve the care, information and advice available for our residents across the borough.
"By attending one of the events, you can tell us how we can provide better support for you, your loved ones and our wider communities. You will also be able to find out more about Community Led Support and how we'll be changing our offer in Gateshead over the coming years.
If you can't make any of these dates but you are still interested in having your voice heard or finding out more about Community Led Support, we'd still encourage you to join the People's Voice group."
Anyone who cannot attend can share their views by completing the online survey by Friday 26 April 2024.
