Handcrafted CIC (opens new window) aims to empower those who have been disadvantaged or faced social exclusion to take positive steps to turn their lives around, be part of a community and start to give back. They work with women and girls who have suffered domestic abuse and would like to welcome you to a session that uses the Open Clasp Theatre Company (opens new window) video "Rattlesnake" to raise awareness of the issues around domestic abuse and to take part in small discussion forums.
The session will also introduce attendees to the Handcrafted team to gain an understanding of who they are and what they do.
This free session is specifically aimed at those working with adults in statutory and non-statutory services. Come along and hear from Handcrafted practitioners working with people at risk on a daily basis. The session will be a mixture of presentation and an informal discussion session where you can ask questions and gain information and advice.
