Cultural Learning and Participation Officer Apprentice
Libraries and Heritage Service and Arts Development Team
Gateshead Libraries and Heritage service and Arts Development Team deliver a cultural programme of activity to Gateshead residents of all ages including author events, artist exhibitions, talks and creative workshops. We are recruiting two apprentices to gain experience in how to plan, organise and co-ordinate cultural, participatory activities with communities. One apprentice will rotate across different service areas within the library service and the other apprentice will be based in the Arts Development Team. You will support us to develop new community audiences, and to ensure our activities are welcoming and engaging. You will help to market and evaluate activities and support staff and artists in delivering workshops and events. You will provide administrative support for the programme and liaise with customers and partner organisations.
Salary: £14,722.20 per annum. Full time, 37 hours per week. Monday to Friday, includes evening and weekend work.
Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprentice
