Adult Social Care continue Consider Care roadshow
Our Adult Social Care service are well underway with our drop-in recruitment events across Gateshead, our 'Consider Care' roadshow.
Since March, the team have been travelling to community centres across the borough to help people apply for roles and shine a light on opportunities for those wanting to work in the sector.
We've held three sessions in Chopwell, Leam Lane and Bensham along with partners including Age UK, Connected Voice, Routes Healthcare and the charity Change, Grow, Live.
It's been a pleasure meeting everyone who has joined us and to see people leaving with new possibilities. We've had conversations with attendees around career changes, advice for those wanting to pursue a career in health and social care but who didn't know where to start, switching roles for those already in the sector and so much more.
If any of this sounds familiar, we would encourage our local communities to come along to one of our few remaining Consider Care sessions. We have fantastic training and job opportunities to help anyone looking for a new career in health and social care, and our team are on hand at these events to answer any questions.
