Aspiring leadership and management programme

We are excited to launch our first Leadership and Management Development Programme for aspiring leaders in Early Help, Specialist Support and Children's Social Care. This programme will be suitable for those wishing to explore management and leadership roles and increase their knowledge and skills.

This is a bespoke programme for practitioners across Early Help, Specialist Support, Residential and Children's Social Care, and will be tailored to the managerial and leadership requirements within these areas.

What will the programme cover? 

• practical skills required to move into Early Help, Specialist Support and Social Care management and leadership roles
• bespoke supervision, appraisal, recruitment and interview training
• insight into decision-making and responsibilities for managers in Children's Social Care and connected teams
• practice experience through shadowing of current team managers to understand the demands and experiences of leadership roles in social care
• personal reflections and planning around next developmental steps
