Members' Allowances Scheme
The Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003 provide that an authority must annually make a members' allowances scheme.
The Council is required to have regard to the recommendations of its Independent Remuneration Panel before making its scheme. The Council considered the report of the Panel at its meeting on 17 March 2016 and agreed to a scheme to be implemented from 1 April 2016.
