Emmaville

Overview

Emmaville is situated in the outer west of Gateshead in Ryton, close to a greenfield site. There are bus links to Gateshead town centre and Blaydon bus station, where there is a train station nearby. Blaydon precinct has many shopping facilities and a large supermarket. Ryton high street is close by with many shopping facilities. In the area surrounding there are many nature walks, including Ryton Willows where you can enjoy a walk along the riverside.  

Emmaville consists of 20 one-bed flats, eight one-bed bungalows and 22 two-bed bungalows, each containing Tunstall emergency care units with pull cords and pendants. These are technology solutions that can help you to manage many risks around the home, and alert caregivers in an emergency. The bungalows all have open-plan gardens and parking is available on site. There is a Mobile Sheltered Scheme Officer who is contactable Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 4.30pm providing support and advice to residents.  

On site there is a separate communal lounge for residents' use. The lounge runs a busy activity schedule where residents come together to relax and socialise.
