Harrison Court is situated in Birtley. Birtley high street is a short distance away with amenities including shops, a large supermarket, and good bus transport links. Harrison Court is next door to a doctor and pharmacy, and has a small car park for residents.  

There is a Sheltered Scheme Officer on site, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm, providing support to tenants.  

Harrison Court is operated by a fob entry system and all flats are contained within the scheme with their own front door. Each flat has Tunstall emergency care units with pull cords and pendants. These are technology solutions that can help you to manage many risks around the home, and alert caregivers in an emergency. There is a modern guest room and a communal shower room within the scheme. In the grounds there is a communal patio and garden area for residents' use.  

There is a communal lounge which has a pool table and TV. There is an activity schedule where residents can relax and socialise together.
