    Overview

    Kays Cottages is situated in the East of Gateshead in Windy Nook. There are good transport links in the area to Gateshead centre and Newcastle. Kays Cottages is close to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Felling High Street with many shopping facilities.  

    Kays Cottages consists of 31 one-bed and 17 two-bed bungalows with open-plan gardens. Each bungalow contains Tunstall emergency care units with pull cords and pendants. These are technology solutions that can help you to manage many risks around the home, and alert caregivers in an emergency. There is a Mobile Scheme Officer who shares their time with other schemes but is contactable between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday, providing support and advice to residents.  

    There is a communal lounge on site with a communal kitchen area, where residents can come together to relax and socialise.
