Introduction to Cricut: Personalised T-shirt or Tote Bag
Interested in using Cricut digital cutting machines? Sign up for this session, become a MakerPlace member and learn the basics of Cricut Design Space.
This session will also cover the safe use of the Cricut machines and heat presses and how you can use them independently. Adults only
In this workshop you will design a personalised tote bag or t-shirt using the programme Cricut Design Space and learn how to prepare the machine and materials for heat transfer.
This workshop will also cover health and safety, terms & conditions of using the equipment and cover the induction necessary to become a MakerPlace member. If you would like to become a member you will need to bring ID to join the library to this workshop. Once you have completed this workshop you will be eligible to make bookings to use the Cricut machines and heat presses through Gateshead Libraries Eventbrite page under 'MakerPlace Members Equipment Booking'.

Participants must have basic keyboard and mouse skills.
Late Arrivals: It will not be possible to join a workshop if you arrive more than 15 minutes late. By this time in a workshop, technical knowledge will have been covered and it won't be possible to go back over this information.
Resources: All resources are included in the cost of the ticket for this event. Unless stated otherwise, you do not need to bring anything with you to participate.
Mobile Phones: We ask that mobile phones are not used during a workshop.
Food and Drink: Only covered beverages are allowed in the MakerPlace, we ask that you keep drinks away from the equipment and computers. No food is to be consumed in the MakerPlace.
