By-election result - Bridges ward

Robert Waugh candidate for the Labour Party has won the by-election for the Bridges ward which took place today (Thursday 12 September) with a majority of 65 votes.
The by-election was called following the sad death of Councillor Bob Goldsworthy, earlier this year, who had represented the ward since 2007.
The turnout for the election was 17.48%.
