Positive About Inclusion supports Pelaw Community Bowling Club

After meeting at the Gateshead Exchange Launch Event in March 2024, Pelaw Community Bowling club reached out to Positive About Inclusion to take up their kind offer of support to review their 'Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Policy'. After reviewing the policy, Positive About Inclusion made several suggestions which Pelaw Community Bowling Club have formally adopted within their policy.

Karen Faulkner, Director of Positive About Inclusion, said, "We were delighted to support Pelaw Community Bowling Club with the review of this policy. The club does a huge amount to create an inclusive welcome to everyone who engages with them. Their policy just needed a few little amends and updates. And it was so lovely to be asked to go along to one of the bowling taster sessions as a thank you!"
