Tell us the person responsible for paying Council Tax has changed

Add someone to your Council Tax bill

To add another named person on to your Council Tax bill, that person must be aged 18 or over and they must have an interest in the property equal to yours (for example, they are a joint tenant or owner or they are your partner).

If you receive a single person discount and someone has moved in with you, you must cancel your single person discount.

Cancel a single person discount

If there are already two or more people over 18 living in the property and there will be no change to the charge, use the form below to tell us about the new person moving in. Please include their full name, date of birth, contact details and previous address.

Remove someone from your Council Tax bill

If someone no longer lives in your property or no longer has the same interest in the property as you do, for example they no longer jointly own the property with you, their name can be removed from the Council Tax bill. Please provide the date they moved out, their full name, forwarding address and reason that you want to have their name removed.
