North East England unites for major UK real estate conference

For the first time the North East Mayor and all seven local authorities will join forces at UKREiiF, with a unified approach to promoting investment opportunities across every part of the region.
North East England will unite to promote its strongest assets and most passionate advocates at the UK's leading real estateconference in Leeds - UKREiiF.
The North East's first Mayor Kim McGuinness will lead a delegation together with all seven regional local authorities and the private sector. Delivered by NewcastleGateshead Initiative on behalf of the North East Combined Authority, this event will mark a significant milestone in the region's devolution story, with a unified North East investment proposition coming to the event for the first time.
Mayor Kim McGuinness will be joined at UKREiiF by the Leader of Sunderland City Council, Cllr Michael Mordey, the portfolio holder for Finance and Investment in North East England, and leading figures from the region's business community.
Set to take place between 20-22nd of May at the Royal Armouries Leeds & Leeds Dock, the UK Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) connects people, places and businesses to accelerate and unlock sustainable, inclusive and transformational investment. The North East England Pavillion will be located on the dock in a prime position on the water delivering a three-day programme of events and opportunities to do business.
With £300bn of opportunity being highlighted at UKREiiF, the event will be used as a platform to secure investment and champion the strengths of the North East to more than 16,000 attendees, from all major UK towns and cities. The delegation will join forces to showcase the region to investors, developers and occupiers to fuel the regional economy.
Highlighting the region's collaborative spirit, the private sector will join the public sector to champion compelling opportunities and sector strengths to thousands of investors.
The North East England delegation to date includes SSE Energy Solutions, Newcastle International Airport, Pegasus Group, Arup, Knight Frank, igloo Regeneration, Newcastle University, Northumbria University, Rolton Group, Ward Hadaway and Naylors Gavin Black.
