Level 3 Business Administrator

Requirements
- Level 2 Maths and English, or GCSEs C/4 or above.
- approximately 15 months "on programme period" and a further 3-month window for End Point Assessment to take place
- 'off the job' training time must be provided, a minimum of 6 hours a week must be recorded by the apprentice
- support from an employment mentor with monthly reviews
- training plan to be completed by the employer and provider to detail the training and support that will be provided to support the successful achievement of the apprenticeship no later than 5 weeks from the start date
What you'll do at work
This is a practical and exciting work-based standard where the apprentice receives on the job training and support. It will allow the apprentice to gain transferable skills that can be applied in all types of sectors and organisations and will develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours across different areas including:
- communication
- decision making
- project management
- record and document production
- stakeholder management
- technologies that are appropriate to the role
Assessment methods
- 1:1 meetings with tutor both in the workplace and through online meetings
- assignments and reflective accounts
- employer feedback
- some classroom-based sessions at Gateshead Interchange
End point assessment
End point assessment will take place in the final 3 months, dependent on learner progress. The assessment will be conducted by an independent end point assessment organisation, consisting of:
- online knowledge test
- professional discussion underpinned by portfolio of evidence
- project/Improvement presentation
