Level 2 Trade Supplier

Requirements
- Level 1 Maths and English, with Level 2 attempted or GCSEs C/4 or above
- a minimum of 30 hours working week
- approximately 12 months "on programme period" and a further 3-month window for End Point Assessment to take place
- 'off the job' training time must be provided, a minimum of 6 hours a week must be recorded by the apprentice
- support from an employment mentor with monthly reviews
What you'll do at work
This is a practical standard, underpinned by technical and product knowledge. It will allow the Trade Supplier Apprentice to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours across different types of activities including:
- trade counter and telesales services
- key principles of warehousing and stock control
- legislative responsibilities relating to the business, products and/or services being sold
- technologies that are appropriate to the role
Assessment methods
- 1:1 meetings with tutor both in the workplace and through online meetings
- observations in the workplace
- assignments and reflective accounts
End point assessment
End point assessment will take place in the final 3 months, dependent on learner progress. The assessment will consist of:
- professional discussion underpinned by portfolio of evidence carried out by approved end point assessor in the apprentice's workplace
- online knowledge test
- practical observation carried out by approved end point assessor in the apprentice's workplace
