Level 2 Facilities Operative

Requirements
- Level 1 Maths and English, with Level 2 attempted
- a minimum of 30 hours working week, working within facilities environment
- 12 months on programme and 3-month window for End Point Assessment - must be employed for 15 months
- 'off the job' training must be provided, a minimum of 6 hours a week (285 for a 12-month apprenticeship)
- support from an employment mentor with monthly reviews every 4 weeks
What you'll do at work
- comply with health and safety and other legislation and organisational policies and procedures
- address related risks, hazards and threats to people, property and premises
- provide customer service to internal and external customers to ensure the effective delivery of a range of facilities services
- support good sustainable practice
- deliver front-of-house services
- maintain hard and soft facility management services
- gather information for continuous improvement purposes
- support the delivery of facility management projects
Assessment methods
- workplace and remote tutor meetings
- independent research and written answers
- reflective accounts
- professional discussion
- observations in the workplace
- witness testimonies completed by mentor and service users
End point assessment
End point assessment will take place in the final 3 months, dependant on learner progress. The assessment will consist of:
- professional discussion underpinned by portfolio of evidence
- knowledge test
- observation
