Level 4 Employability Practitioner

Requirements 

  • Level 2 Maths and English or GCSE level C/Grade 4 or above
  • a minimum of 30 hours working week, working within an organisation that will deliver employability support through local and national contracts across different public services
  • 24 months on programme and 3-month window for End Point Assessment - must be employed for 27 months
  • 'off the job' training must be provided, a minimum of 6 hours a week (565 for a 28-month apprenticeship)
  • support from an employment mentor with monthly reviews every 4 weeks

What you'll do at work

  • conduct holistic initial assessments, action plans, job search
  • provide information, advice and guidance on employability, careers and local labour market information 
  • signpost services to relevant third-party provision, taking a multi-agency 
  • coach and mentor both service users and colleagues to support their development
  • manage own caseload of challenging and complex cases
  • identify internal and external networking opportunities for partnership building and establishing working relationships with key stakeholders
  • adhere to and apply safeguarding and PREVENT policies, procedures and best practice
  • promote equality of opportunity, embrace diversity and inclusion
  • provide appropriate in work support

  • observations
  • product evidence - work documents 
  • witness statements/testimonies
  • personal statements and/or reflective accounts  
  • written explanations/descriptions and research
  • CPD log  

End point assessment 

End point assessment will take place in the final 3 months, dependant on learner progress. The assessment will consist of: 

  • presentation underpinned by portfolio of evidence and research
  • observation of Interventions with service users 
  • knowledge test
