Level 4 Associate Project Manager

Requirements 

  • Level 2 Maths and English equivalent eg GCSEs grade C or above/level 4 or above
  • 18 months on programme and 5-month window for End Point Assessment
  • the potential apprentice is someone who manages teams and/or projects to achieve operational/departmental goals
  • the course is suitable for the following job roles: assistant project manager, junior project manager, project team leader, project manager or project lead
  • support from a workplace mentor, who can attend monthly reviews

What you'll do at work

  • business requirements and objectives
  • regulations and legislation 
  • project management tools and techniques 
  • managing information
  • managing stakeholders
  • research and analysis 
  • evaluation 

Assessment methods 

  • taught session once a month at Gateshead Interchange
  • at least 5 hours a month required during working hours, for the apprentice to write up evidence for the show case portfolio
  • a log of training and development activities to be maintained

End point assessment 

End point assessment will take place in the final 3 months, dependant on learner progress. The assessment will consist of: 

  • compile an E-portfolio of evidence
  • manage a project, create a report and presentation
  • professional discussion
