Level 4 Sales Executive

Requirements
- Level 2 Maths and English, or GCSEs C/4 or above
- a minimum of 30 hours working week
- approximately 18 months "on programme period" and up to a further 4-month window for End Point Assessment to take place
- 'off the job' training time must be provided, a minimum of 6 hours a week must be recorded by the apprentice
- support from an employment mentor with monthly reviews
What you'll do at work
This is a practical standard for a sales person working either in the Business to Business or Business to Consumer markets, responsible for retaining and growing existing customer accounts and generating new business. The standard is underpinned by technical and product knowledge. It will allow the Sales Executive Apprentice to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours across different types of activities including:
- market knowledge
- product, service and sector knowledge
- customer experience management
- technologies that are appropriate to the role
Assessment methods
- 1:1 meetings with tutor both in the workplace and through online meetings
- assignments and case studies
End point assessment
End point assessment will take place in the final 4 months, dependant on learner progress. The assessment will consist of:
- work based project set by the End Point Assessment Organisation to be completed within the final 4 months following submission of a portfolio of evidence
- online presentation, including a sales pitch with questions and answers
- online professional discussion, supported by a portfolio of evidence which includes a structured Q and A session, and an exploratory discussion.
