Level 3 Team Leader Apprenticeship

Requirements
- Level 2 Maths and English, or GCSEs C/4 or above
- must be in a Team leader or 1st line manager role
- approximately 15 months "on programme period" and a further 3-month window for an assessment to take place
- 'off the job' training time must be provided by the employer, a minimum of 6 hours a week and must be recorded by the apprentice
- support from an employment mentor with monthly reviews
- training plan to be completed by the employer and provider to detail the training and support that will be provided to support the successful achievement of the apprenticeship no later than 5 weeks from the start date
What you'll do at work
An apprenticeship that is designed for a team leader to develop knowledge and skills to support their team and progress in their management journey. The apprentice will develop across different areas including:
- managing and developing people, resolving problems and building relationships
- leading people
- project management
- personal effectiveness, managing self
- delivering operational plans
Assessment methods
- full day taught classroom-based session at Gateshead Interchange monthly during term time only
- 1:1 meetings with tutor and employer in the workplace and online meetings
- assignments
- portfolio of practical evidence including employer and team feedback
- witness testimonies for observations for practical evidence
End point assessment
End point assessment will take place in the final 3 months, dependent on learner progress. End point assessment will be conducted by an Independent end point assessment organisation, consisting of:
- professional discussion underpinned by portfolio of evidence
- project Presentation and question and answers
