Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship

Requirements
- Level 2 Maths and English equivalent eg GCSEs grade C or above/level 4 or above
- 24 months on programme and 5-month window for end point assessment
- the potential apprentice is someone who manages teams and/or projects to achieve operational/departmental goals
- key responsibilities in their role include management of staff, resources, budgets, producing operational plans and managing projects
- support is required from a workplace mentor, who can attend monthly reviews

Assessment methods
- full day taught session once a month at Gateshead Interchange
- at least 5 hours a month required during working hours, for the apprentice to write up evidence for the show case portfolio
- a log of training and development activities to be maintained
End point assessment
End point assessment will take place in the final 3 months of the programme. End point assessment will consist of:
- creation of a show case portfolio
- structured competency-based interview
- a work-based project report and presentation
