Course overview
The aim of this course is to help you develop a deeper understanding of autism and provide you with strategies to foster positive relationships with your child while supporting their unique needs at home.
Course content
Do you want to improve your understanding of Autism? This course is aimed at parents and carers, who want to understand more about Autism, especially in children and what they can do to support their child at home. We will begin the course by explaining what Autism is and how this can present at school and at home. Over the following weeks, we will build on activities and strategies, which can support parents and carers with their child at home.
Who this course is for
Parents / carers and relatives of school age children and community venues.
Materials and equipment
None
Assessment
Your tutor will assess your work and photograph the things you have made as evidence of your hard work. You will work on targets together to show your learning over the course.
