Course overview

Would you like to improve your English speaking and writing skills? Family ESOL classes will help you practise and enhance your English language skills in a fun way. Lessons are designed to get learners engaged in doing tasks about common topics and everyday life activities and to encourage learners to produce more accurate English. If you do not feel confident enough to get involved in conversations using English, ESOL classes are the right place to give you the chance to boost your confidence in a friendly and sociable environment.

Course content

You will work with the tutor for one and a half hour to do prepared tasks as a group about certain selected topics. The tasks will encourage you to practise your English skills more confidently.  

Who this course is for

Parents / carers and relatives of school age children. 

Materials and equipment

Everything will be provided for you free of charge. 

Assessment

There will be an initial assessment to determine your level. Then targets will be set for each learner and they work over the course to achieve them. There will be final assessment at the end of the course.
