Course overview
Do you and your child want to learn new crafting ideas? This course aims to introduce you to a variety of crafts ranging from origami, book folding, and wool crafts to creatively using paint, clay and textiles. The course can be themed for different seasons and celebrations such as Christmas or Easter. In addition to learning new techniques, you will develop your manual dexterity and creative thinking. You will work on some of the techniques independently and then your child will join you for the last part of the session to create some work together.
Course content
On this course you will produce a finished craft project each week such as book folded trees and hedgehogs, macramé items, painted plant pots, woven baskets and clay objects. As the course progresses, your skills will become increasingly more developed. You will also improve your ability to follow instructions to create your own personalised craft items that can be shared with family and friends.
