Course overview
Maths is a part of everyday life, and that includes supporting your child's learning at school. If you would like to find out more about the way your child develops maths knowledge, this is a great class to explore how children find out about the world around them. We will look at various ways maths is taught in school, create resources together to help you support your child at home, and help you to understand modern maths methods alongside your child. All families attending will create a unique hand designed cloth bag to keep all your fun number games.
Course content
You will work with a tutor for around 1 hour finding out all about maths methods in primary education. You will then work with your child in school for 30 minutes on a shared craft activity to support their maths learning.
