Worried about your child's online safety? 
 
With children accessing the internet at younger ages, it's natural to be concerned. Our course is designed to help you navigate the complexities of online safety. Through engaging activities and discussions, you'll learn how to support your child in making safe, informed decisions online. 
 
Join us to gain valuable insights and practical tips to ensure your child's online experiences are positive and secure. Let's work together to create a safer digital world for our kids! 

Course content

You will work with a tutor for around 1 hour to take part in activities and discuss your understanding of today's online world in a safe environment with other families. We will look at a range of topics involving gaming, YouTube, communicating with others and common dangers that could present themselves to children. Your child will then join us for a 30 minute shared activity where we can explore their understanding and develop their skills in staying safe online. 

Who this course is for

Parents / carers and relatives of school age children. 

Materials and equipment

None. If you have a smart phone or digital device, you can bring it along as long as it is used within the boundaries of the school's policies. 

We will provide resources and information, and where appropriate digital devices to access online material.  

Assessment

Your tutor will assess your work and photograph the things you have made as evidence of your hard work. You will work on targets together to show your learning over the course. 

Accreditation 

This course is not accredited.
