Course overview

This course will help you to understand how you can save and set a budget for Christmas. The course will also enable you to learn ways of reducing the cost of Christmas through making handmade crafts associated with the festive season, such as advent calendars, wrapping paper and Christmas decorations. 

Course content

You will learn ways to set saving targets, learn strategies and make resources to cut the cost of Christmas. For example, Christmas cards, advent calendars, homemade decorations and gifts.

Parents and carers with their children and community venues. 

Materials and equipment

Learning and Skills will provide all materials. 

Assessment

Your tutor will assess your work and photograph the things you have made as evidence of your hard work. You will work on targets together to show your learning over the course.
