Coding

Programme overview
This course is about computer programming, learning to give a computer instructions in order for it perform all sorts of tasks.
Learners will use block based coding, which is an easier version than text based. We will use this to create all kinds of fun computer games, working pieces of technology such as door alarms and musical instruments. Once the basic skills are mastered learners can even create their own moving cars and robots
Learners will work in teams and develop good team working and communication skills. As they make sure their code is precise, they will develop their attention to detail. They will develop problem solving skills and learn how to de-bug. They will develop their creative skills as they build items from scratch and get to decide how it works.
