3 hours per week (Wednesdays 1-4pm).
Programme overview
Do you like Music? Would you like to learn and play with a fun community of likeminded people? Then our Music programme for SEND learners would be an excellent choice to explore and create music in a supportive and safe environment. Lead by an award winning SEND music teacher, we offer a broad range of musical experiences to engage and motivate you. The course is informed by our members' ideas and interests, putting the ownership of the course in the group's hands. You will be excited and engaged by what we have planned for you, so please contact us for more information about our wonderful music course.
Programme content
Previously we have covered activities like group singing, vocal health, song writing, rhythm, learning instruments, music technology and production, Karaoke and performance. Each week we focus on areas that the group are interested in, and we plan and deliver to offer fresh and group focused activities. It's our passion to offer ownership and direction to our members, and to foster curiosity and musical attainment in a supportive and sociable environment.

Everyone is welcome.
Materials and equipment
No equipment is needed, everything will be provided.
Assessment
Each member will have an individual learning plan, which aims to monitor musical interests and capturing development at an appropriate level. Support will always be at hand for writing if required, and any other additional needs as part of our ongoing inclusive approach.
