There are a number of recycling 'bring bank' sites across Gateshead in supermarket car parks and town centres, so you don't need to go out of your way to recycle.

There are two household waste and recycling centres in Gateshead where you can take a variety of household waste and recycling.

You can also recycle your batteries at sites across the borough, and Low Energy Light Bulbs at our Household Waste and Recycling Centres or Sainsbury's and Homebase, Team Valley.
