This spring, we're teaming up with the National Trust's Blossom Campaign to bring the joy of nature to Gateshead. You can find spring blossom in lots of places, so head outdoors and explore the vibrant blossom displays in your neighbourhood or local park. Whether it's the whole family or a group of friends, on foot or on wheels, it's easy to join the fun and participate in blossom walks, outdoor pursuits, or just relax peacefully beneath a blossom tree.
With a variety of blossom-themed activities and events planned across the borough, including our libraries and our friends at Shipley Art Gallery, there's something for everyone.
You shouldn't have to travel too far to spot some blossom, but we've also mapped out some key blossom hotspots for you:
