Dangerous, exotic or wild animals licence
The Dangerous Wild Animals Act regulates the keeping of certain kinds of dangerous wild animals.
The Act prohibits the keeping of named animals except in accordance with a licence granted by the local authority.
The licence relates to the suitability of the keeper, the suitability and safety of the accommodation and the welfare of the animal.
Cost
The current cost of a dangerous wild animals licence is £172.50 plus the cost of the veterinary inspection which you are obliged to pay whether a license is granted or not
