Children's homes

There are a small number of young people who live in residential homes provided by Gateshead Council. There are two children's homes in Gateshead, which provide mid to long term residential care for young people aged 12-18.

There is also a residential home which provides short break care for disabled children who live at home with their families.

The children's homes provide a safe and supportive environment which encourages young people to reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives.
