Kibblesworth Millennium Centre is home to a number of specially-commissioned artworks, including:
Stained glass: Sue Woolhouse
Glass Artist Sue Woolhouse designed and created this glass artwork which is inspired by Kibblesworth; the countryside and mining history. The piece is located within the Kibblesworth Millenium Centre and incorporates panels of etched as well as stained glass sections.
Pit Pony: Gilbert Ward
Sculptor Gilbert Ward was commissioned to create a work to for the entrance to the Millennium Centre to celebrate the history of Kibblesworth. The pit pony is hand carved from stone and represents the former mining village of Kibblesworth.
Weathervane: Jim Roberts
This weathervane, made from steel by Sculptor Jim Roberts, was added to the Kibblesworth Millennium Centre in 2002.
Birds: William Pym
These bird sculptures formed part of the design for a railing scheme at the Kibblesworth Millennium Centre on 2001. The sculptures were designed and made by Artist William Pym.
