Komatsu Ceramic Mural

The mural was made as part of a three year potters' exchange and completed it in 1996.  The overall structure of the panels was intended to suggest strips torn off wrapping paper revealing the brightly coloured tiles, depicting images from the two different cultures.

Situated in the entrance of Gateshead Leisure Centre and Gateshead Central Library on Prince Consort Road.
